Mystique = Big Hit!

I’m up in Boise getting ready for my first magic shows at Mystique. We’ve sold over $1,300 worth of tickets just this morning… So it’s shaping up to be a big hit!

This venue looks amazing! No expense was spared, and it shows. I’ll upload some pics once I get settled.

Check out this video where I discuss my last night performing strolling magic at Teru Sushi, my upcoming magic show at Mystique Dining, and my return to The Magic Castle!

Last Night was Magical…

A lot of people swung by Teru Sushi last night to say goodbye. Many of my favorite regulars were there, and we had a blast.

I had planned on doing some brand-new magic tricks, but almost everybody wanted to see their old favorites. It was cool.

The staff and management at Teru Sushi were wonderful as always. I really love those guys.

I sent out an email to everyone on my email list about this Friday at Teru Sushi. I’ve already had a few people tell me they plan to make reservations.

It’s always a busy crowd on Friday nights… but I’m extra excited to be performing my strolling magic for the regulars I’ve gotten to know over the last year. I’m hoping to see my favorites.

This Friday is my last night at Teru Sushi in Studio City. If you’ve ever wanted to see my award-winning strolling magic for free… this is your last chance!

I’ll be performing elegant sleight-of-hand at your table from 8pm to 10pm. If you love my magic (or great Japanese cuisine), you simply MUST come to Teru Sushi this Friday. And if you’ve never seen me perform before, Friday is a rare chance to see me in action at a public venue.

We’re going to have a great time and the magic is always on the house. Hope to see you there!

Chris was looking for a memorable, amazing way to ask his girlfriend to marry him. So he hired me to entertain his group at the Magic Castle last night.

For my final magic effect, I turned my wedding ring into an engagement ring… right in his girlfriend’s hand.

She cried. She said yes. And she’ll remember that moment for the rest of her life. Sometimes I just have the coolest job in the whole world!

Phew! What a month…

A lot has happened since my last post at the beginning of February. Here’s the magical and the professional:

    1. I performed some great gigs. Many were repeat clients, including cocktail hour strolling magic for a major financial services company and a close-up magic show for a 70th birthday party at a Santa Barbara winery.

    2. We left our apartment and moved into our new home. Yay!

    3. I was interviewed on Spike TV’s top-rated show, “1000 Ways to Die.”

    4. My wife and I spent a nice weekend in Palm Springs.

    5. I booked two shows for this October (October is ALWAYS a busy month for magic!).

March should be an interesting month. Stay tuned!
